Seismic reinforcement protector, protecting lives.

Seismic reinforcement protector, protecting lives.

"Inochimamoru" is an add-on hold-down device that is installed from the outside of existing houses. By securing the foundation and columns together, it prevents "tenon pullout," one of the main causes of collapse during major earthquakes, thereby protecting the structure from falling. ◇ It can withstand a pulling force of up to 7.36 tons! When installed on a reinforced concrete foundation (with a concrete compressive strength of 13 N/mm²), it has been experimentally proven to withstand a maximum pulling force of 7.36 tons on the columns. *The strength may decrease depending on the foundation's strength and the presence of rebar. ◇ It can be installed at a low cost Since it can be installed without cutting the walls, the cost is about 1/4 to 1/5 compared to cases where walls need to be cut. ◇ We offer covers that match the exterior walls There are upper and lower covers available, and you can choose from a total of four colors: hairline, ivory, brown, and beige. All are made of stainless steel, and the paint is baked on, providing excellent durability.

Post-installed hold-down hardware "Kazoku Mamoru"

Protects homes from the pulling force of the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake (4 tons).

"Kazoku Mamoru" is an exterior retrofitting hold-down hardware for houses. It is said that during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, houses experienced a pulling force of 4 tons, and Kazoku Mamoru can withstand up to 4.5 tons. By securing the foundation and columns together, it can prevent "tenon pull-out" and "separation," thereby mitigating damage from natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. It helps prevent the collapse of houses and protects important homes and families. Since it can be installed without breaking walls, it shortens construction time. Another feature is that it places less burden on the columns because the hardware is fixed to the columns with screws. *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
